The Pre Filter Box is for use with 200 and 320 Gallon Per Hour Fountain Pumps to provide mechanical filtration for use in water accent applications. In Mechanical filtration, the water is pumped into the filter creating the necessary pressure to begin the mechanical filtration stage. There are two phases in the mechanical filtration stage, course and fine filtration. Each phase uses a specially designed foam filter to effectively remove all sizes of unwanted debris. The pre-filter cleans ponds up to 500 gallons and is recommended for use with Sunterra pump numbers 120016 and 137016.
